1. Equipment Overview

This equipment is used for wrapping a protective Mylar mold around the battery core. After wrapping, the entire battery core forms a protective layer with the aluminum shell to prevent safety hazards caused by contact and friction between internal battery components and the aluminum shell, thereby enhancing the safety performance of the battery during charging and discharging. The Mylar mold is further glued to prevent it from coming loose.

2. Equipment Process Flowchart

• Power on and initialize the equipment

• Press Start 1

• Place Mylar mold on wrapping platform

• Platform moves to material receiving position

• Press material retrieval button

• Robotic arm retrieves material and places it on wrapping platform

• Platform moves to gluing position

• Bottom cylinder of Mylar mold pre-folds Mylar mold

• Upper press plate presses down

• Lower edge wrapping strip rises

• Upper edge wrapping strip descends

• Apply glue on both sides

• Edge wrapping mechanism retracts

• Platform returns to material receiving position

• Robotic arm unloads material
